Awards & Honors
The ADPA celebrates the efforts of ALL the dogs & humans alike who have exhibited their Drentsche Patrijshonden with the American Kennel Club and elsewhere. To acknowledge those dogs (and their owners & breeders) that have gone above and beyond in this, the ADPA has established the Dual Honors and Versatility Award. Their promotion of the breed through exhibition speaks volumes about the versatility, beauty, and intelligence of the Drent.

Dual Honors Dogs
These dogs have proven themselves at the highest levels in the field and/or sporting venue as well as the show ring. These Drents embody form and function in our breed where we strive to keep these ideals a priority. Congratulations to the breeders, owners, and handlers of these dogs for achieving these superior achievements in competition and earning this highly sought after and distinctive level of recognition.​
Versatility Award
The ADPA Versatility Awards are intended to not only honor nearly 400 years of history, but to add a new chapter to the Drent’s legacy of versatility and to celebrate these amazing dogs. Congratulations to the breeders, owners, and handlers of these dogs for achieving high marks through a range of competition and earning this hard won and distinctive recognition of Versatility.
